Karyn Kusama debuted with Girlfight in 2000 about Rodriguez boxing boys. Aeon Flux followed in 2005 with Theron in clone futures, then Jennifers Body in 2009 with Fox possessed at school. Destroyer arrived in 2018 with Kidman as a burned detective.
The films share fighting women and bruises but no plots link at all. Each runs physical on purpose. Release order shows her Sundance roots widening to studio fights without losing the hit heat. The boxing bells and badge lamps carry every bout with sweat.
