About Lego Movie
The Lego Movie from 2014 follows Emmet as an ordinary builder pulled into a prophecy with Wyldstyle and Batman. The Lego Batman Movie from 2017 gives Batman a Gotham family story, and the Lego Ninjago Movie from 2017 tells a father son mecha tale in its own town. The Lego Movie 2 from 2019 returns to Emmet and Lucy against the Systar invasion.
Watch in release order. The two 2017 spinoffs stand alone, but Batman jokes land better if you know the 2014 take first. A Universal live action hybrid is in development with no date, so the four Warner films form the complete released set.
Good to know
Piece by Piece from 2024 is a separate Pharrell documentary in brick style, not part of the Emmet story, so keep it outside this list entirely for now. The Batman and Ninjago films share the brick look but not the Bricksburg plot. Treat Movie 2 as the current close until the Universal film actually shoots.
