Megamind from November 2010 follows the blue villain beating Metro Man, then facing rookie Titan with Roxanne and Minion at his side. The Button of Doom short from February 2011 covers his first day as defender of Metro City.
Megamind vs. the Doom Syndicate arrived March 2024 on Peacock as an 83 minute streaming film and pilot, with a recast crew. Megamind Rules ran 16 episodes across March and June 2024 as a direct follow up with Roxanne as mayor. No second season has been greenlit as of 2026.
Good to know
Watch the 2010 film, then Button of Doom, then Doom Syndicate and Rules in order. The 2024 entries recast every voice and rename Minion to Ol Chum, so expect a different sound after the jump. Creators say more depends on Peacock performance, but nothing is dated, so the 2024 season stands as the close for now.
