About Monsters vs. Aliens
Monsters vs. Aliens from March 2009 follows Susan Murphy turned Ginormica and drafted with B.O.B., Missing Link and Dr. Cockroach against Gallaxhar. B.O.B.'s Big Break arrived as a DVD extra the same year with a jailbreak joke.
Mutant Pumpkins from Outer Space aired October 2009 on NBC as a Halloween special, with Night of the Living Carrots following in 2011 as its direct sequel about carrot zombies. The Nickelodeon series ran 26 episodes from March 2013 to February 2014 with a replacement cast before cancellation for low ratings.

Watch the 2009 film first, then the specials in release order, then the series in order. The specials reuse the film cast while the series recasts everyone, so the voice change is less jarring after the films. A sequel was scrapped after weak international returns, so the series finale stands as the close for now.
