Paul Blart Mall Cop from 2009 follows Blart as he defends his New Jersey mall from thieves while chasing Amy and a Segway patrol dream across the food court. Paul Blart Mall Cop 2 from 2015 moves him to a Las Vegas guard expo where thieves target the hotel and his daughter Maya.
Watch the 2009 film then the 2015 sequel in order. The second assumes you know Blart, Maya and his low sugar faint beats, so skipping weakens the callbacks. No third film is greenlit despite James interest, so the two form a closed pair.
