About Puppet Master
Puppet Master started in 1989 with Andre Toulon animated puppets fighting Nazis and hotel guests. Four sequels ran through 1994, then Curse in 1998, Retro in 1999 as a 1900s prequel, and the clip film Legacy in 2003. The 2004 crossover with Demonic Toys sits outside canon.
The Axis trilogy from 2010 to 2017 returns to WWII, while Littlest Reich in 2018 reboots continuity and Blade in 2020 plus Doktor Death in 2022 spin off single puppets. A Blumhouse reboot was optioned in 2026 with no date. Watch in release order. Story order would scatter the WWII prequels across the list.
Good to know
Chronological order would start with Retro in the 1900s, then Toulon Revenge and the Axis films in WWII, then the modern hotel films, but that breaks the reveals. Release order keeps each era reveal where the makers put it. Littlest Reich is a separate reboot, not a sequel, so treat it as a fresh start after the original run ends.
