About Siccin
Siccin follows different families each film as black magic and djinn possession destroy weddings and inheritances across rural Turkey. Directed by Alper Mestci, the found footage series escalates from haunted houses to full exorcism rituals with returning clerics. The early run covers the 2014 original and the 2015 sequel, setting the cin curse rules.
The middle stretch follows parts 3 through 6 from 2016 to 2019, standalone nightmares tied by lore. The closing run returns with Siccin 7 in 2024 after a five year break. Seven films make it Turkey longest running horror franchise. Watch the films in release order.
Good to know
Watch the seven films in release order in four blocks, since curse rules and cleric lore build even though each family story stands alone. The found footage style stays consistent. No spinoff continues the lore outside the numbered films. Parts 5 and 6 lean hardest into exorcism horror. The 2024 seventh film revives the series, so treat this order as current through Siccin 7.
