About Sinbad films

Columbia released three Sinbad films built around Ray Harryhausen's Dynamation creatures, each with a different lead actor and no shared plot.

Release order is the only order that matters, since every voyage stands alone and the effects grow more ambitious each time.

Good to know

The Golden Voyage premiered in London in December 1973 ahead of its 1974 US release, so it is listed under either year, while earlier one-offs and the DreamWorks animated film sit outside this trilogy. A fourth Harryhausen voyage set on Mars was planned in 1977 but never filmed.
