About The Birds
The Birds tracks Melanie Daniels visiting Bodega Bay as gulls turn on schools and cafes. The 1963 Hitchcock film spans slow pecks to attic siege with Mitch and Lydia. The Birds II Land's End in 1994 follows teacher Ted with a new island flock and lighthouse close.
Watch the 1963 film first since the sequel assumes the attack grammar and inverts the family. The films share flock logic but not the same survivors, so the gap needs no bridging short. No third Birds has been dated past remake talk, which leaves the two Universal entries as the set.
