Two films in order.

About Tooth Fairy

Tooth Fairy opened January 22, 2010 with Dwayne Johnson as Derek sentenced to fairy duty with wings for doubting teeth. It runs 101 minutes with Ashley Judd and fairy caseworker Tracy. Tooth Fairy 2 arrived March 2012 straight to video with Larry the Cable Guy asthe new recruit helping Lily.

Stories share fairy bureau with new leads, so either works first, but release order shows bureau rules. No third film has been announced, so these two are complete with PG ratings. Both run about 100 minutes with tooth pillow gags.

Good to know

Watch the 2010 original first for Derek wings origin, then 2012 for Lily helper run. The original carries theater effects with Johnson charm, the sequel is video budget with Larry slapstick. Expect fairy gadgets and kid belief beats each time. Both suit ages 6 plus with mild rude humor. All stream on family platforms.
