About Wishmaster
Wishmaster tracks the Djinn granting wishes with twisted costs after gem awakenings. The 1997 original sets Stanton and Beaumont museum rules, Evil Never Dies in 1999 follows thieves freeing him again, Beyond the Gates of Hell in 2001 moves to campus wishes, and The Prophecy Fulfilled in 2002 closes with lawyers and prophets.
Watch in release order since Djinn defeats stack loosely with gem lore. Later entries reset casts with light ties, so sampling after the original is safe. No fifth Wishmaster has been dated, which leaves the four Dimension entries as the closed set with the Djinn bound by design.
Good to know
Release order keeps wish twists intact with museum first and prophecy last. The 1997 film plays biggest with Craven cameos, so start there before the video sequels. Evil Never Dies works best second as the thief follow up. Treat Prophecy Fulfilled as the current end with the Djinn sealed and no reboot pending.
