About YRF Spy Universe
The YRF Spy Universe launched with Ek Tha Tiger in 2012 as Salman Khan's Tiger meets Katrina Kaif's Zoya. Tiger Zinda Hai from 2017 and War from 2019 with Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff expanded it. Pathaan from 2023 with Shah Rukh Khan crossed a thousand crore, Tiger 3 from 2023 added Emraan Hashmi, and War 2 from August 2025 paired Hrithik with NTR.
Alpha from July 2026 with Alia Bhatt and Sharvari is the first female led entry and seventh film. Post credit scenes link the agents, with Tiger vs Pathaan and Pathaan 2 in the pipeline. Release order matches the crossover buildup Aditya Chopra planned.
Good to know
Watch in release order, since cameos like Pathaan in Tiger 3 assume prior films directly. The Tiger films form one thread and War another before they collide on screen. Alpha extends the universe with new leads. Tiger vs Pathaan and Pathaan 2 stay yearless in the pipeline, so Alpha is the current endpoint.
