About Backrooms
Backrooms is an analog horror web series by Kane Parsons, then sixteen, built on the creepypasta of endless yellow rooms. The Async Research Institute tests a threshold to the Complex, films expeditions and loses people. Found Footage from January 2022 shows a cameraman slipping in, then Third Test, First Contact and Missing Persons widen the files.
Pitfalls from May 2022 follows Marvin falling through pits into suburbs that should not exist. Found Footage 2 from August 2022 and Found Footage 3 from September 2024 push deeper. An A24 film is dated May 29, with a short called Everything Must Go attached to its rollout.
Good to know
Watch in upload order, the Async files assume it. Found Footage, Third Test, First Contact and Missing Persons set the rules in under fifteen minutes total. Pitfalls runs fourteen minutes and is the first long expedition. Found Footage 3 runs forty five minutes and moves Ravi into new zones. The A24 film is a separate adaptation, not episode 26, so keep it after the shorts.
