About Banshee
Banshee follows an ex-con who assumes the identity of a murdered sheriff in small town Pennsylvania, policing the town by day while pulling heists by night. Across four seasons his stolen badge collides with crime lord Kai Proctor, his former crew, and the Amish underworld.
Watch seasons one through four straight through. The show is fully serialized, with each finale feeding the next season, and the shortened eight episode final season was designed as the ending. The Origins webisodes are optional backstory shorts that slot anywhere after season one.
Good to know
There is no separate chronological order here: the story runs in a straight line from Hood taking the badge to the 2016 finale. Cinemax ended the show on its own terms at 38 episodes, and no revival is in development. The violence level stays extreme throughout, so the content warnings on season one apply to all four.
