About Big Bang Theory
The Big Bang Theory ran 12 seasons from 2007 to 2019 and Young Sheldon ran seven seasons and 141 episodes as a prequel set in Texas from 1989 to 1994. Georgie and Mandy's First Marriage, created by Chuck Lorre, Steven Molaro and Steve Holland, is the third installment in the franchise and a direct sequel to Young Sheldon.
That show is set in the mid-1990s in the fictional town of Medford, Texas, with Montana Jordan as Georgie Cooper and Emily Osment as Mandy McAllister, who is eleven years older than him. It began on CBS on October 17, 2024, its second season premiered on October 16, 2025, and the third premiered on October 8, 2026. Rachel Bay Jones, Will Sasso, Dougie Baldwin and Jessie Prez round out the cast, and the show follows the newlyweds raising their daughter CeeCee while Mandy's parents live in the house.
Stuart Fails to Save the Universe, the multiverse comedy, premiered in July 2026 on HBO Max and sits outside the main timeline entirely.
