About Criminal Record
Criminal Record pairs Peter Capaldi's veteran detective with Cush Jumbo's rising officer across a London cold case that questions an old conviction. Season one runs eight episodes from January 2024, and season two followed with eight more from April to June 2026 after an August 2024 renewal.
Watch season one before season two since the institutional fallout carries over. With sixteen episodes aired and no third season announced as of late 2026, the show sits as an ongoing procedural waiting on its next case.
Good to know
Release order is story order across a linear investigation drama, so no alternate list is needed. Created by Paul Rutman as an Apple TV original, each season runs eight episodes. Season two filmed for 22 weeks through June 2025, and the status stays ongoing until Apple orders more or closes it with a finale.
