About Dying for Sex
Dying for Sex adapts the Wondery podcast about Molly Kochan, diagnosed with Stage IV metastatic breast cancer, who leaves her husband to explore desire with best friend Nikki by her side. Created by Kim Rosenstock and Elizabeth Meriwether, the eight episodes run April 4, 2025 on Hulu in the United States and Disney Plus internationally.
The series is billed as a limited series with no second season planned, and the finale closes Molly arc fully. Watch episodes one through eight in release order, since each hookup and hospital visit builds on the last. The tone mixes frank comedy with grief, so sequential viewing matters more than skipping to highlights.
Good to know
Release order is story order with no shortcuts, since Molly journey is linear across eight episodes. Start at episode one for the diagnosis scene that sets every later choice. The finale lands hardest after the full run, so avoid sampling out of order. As a closed limited series, there is nothing announced beyond these eight parts to slot in later.
