About Hell on Wheels
Hell on Wheels follows vengeful Cullen Bohannon building the Union Pacific railroad west across five seasons from 2011 on AMC. Seasons 1 through 3 run ten episodes each through camp murders, land wars and the Swede's schemes.
Season 4 expands to thirteen with Fort Smith Mormon territory politics, and the split fourteen-episode fifth season closes the golden spike ceremony in 2016. All 57 episodes run one continuous construction saga with no spinoffs. Watch the five seasons straight through in air order.

Release order is story order from the pilot's revenge setup to the spike ceremony. Note the count: 57 episodes, not 62 as some guides claim. The fifth season splits seven and seven across 2015 and 2016. No continuation exists. Start with season 1, since the railroad grudge and every land deal compound through.
