About Kingdom Netflix
Kingdom Netflix follows crown prince Lee Chang hunting the plague across Joseon with physician Seo-bi. Season 1 from 2019 sets the king death, the Hanyang flight, and the frozen valley reveal across six episodes.
Season 2 from 2020 closes the Haewon Cho coup and adds the seven year jump, the Ashin of the North special from 2021 explains the herb origin. Kim Seong-hun directed with Kim Eun-hee writing, night chases, and palace fire traps. Watch in release order since Ashin assumes season 2 end. Season 3 remains undated.
Good to know
There is no separate chronological order for Kingdom Netflix worth listing for first viewing, since release order gives the plague shock before the origin story. Ashin sits first in story time but spoils the season 2 plants. Watch seasons 1 and 2 first, then Ashin. Frozen valley bite and herb flower need season 1 shock.
