About Little Britain
Little Britain is the sketch series written and performed by Matt Lucas and David Walliams, narrated by Tom Baker, moving from BBC Three to BBC One as it grew. Series 1 ran eight episodes from September 2003, Series 2 ran six episodes from October 2004, and Series 3 ran six episodes from November 2005 with several characters given closing twists.
The story ends with Little Britain Abroad, a two part Christmas special broadcast 25 and 30 December 2006 that sends the regulars overseas. A 2003 pilot and Comic Relief sketches exist, but the four entries listed here are the complete television run.
Good to know
There is no separate chronological order for Little Britain worth listing, since sketches reset each week and only the broadcast sequence preserves how characters develop and exit. Watch Series 1 to 3 in order, then Abroad last. The radio original from 2000 to 2002 and Little Britain USA are separate extras, not required for the main run.
