About Locke and Key
Locke and Key moves the Locke children to Keyhouse in Matheson after their father's murder, where they find whispering keys that open minds, travel anywhere and raise ghosts. Developed by Carlton Cuse from Joe Hill's comics, the first season ran ten episodes from February 7, 2020.
The second season ran ten episodes from October 2021 as Dodge forged a demon key, and the third ran eight from August 2022 against the original demon Gideon. Announced as the final season upfront, it closes the story. Watch all three seasons in order. Every key introduced early returns with a purpose by the end.
Good to know
Air order is story order. The three seasons form one continuous siege of Keyhouse, and season three resolves threads planted in season one's first episodes. Comic readers should know the show rearranges and softens several arcs, including the ending. With the finale announced as the last before airing, the 28 episodes are the complete run.
