About Love and Anarchy
Love and Anarchy (Karlek och anarki) is the Swedish romantic comedy drama created by Lisa Langseth for Netflix, produced by FLX as its second Swedish original after Quicksand. Ida Engvoll plays consultant Sofie and Björn Mosten plays young IT tech Max, whose escalating dare game disrupts the Lund and Meyer publishing house. Season 1 released all eight episodes on 4 November 2020 and Season 2 released eight more on 16 June 2022.
Each episode runs about half an hour, sixteen in total. Netflix renewed the show in March 2021 and released Season 2 in 2022, with no third season announced since. The two seasons form a closed arc around Sofie's marriage, Max's career and the publisher's future.
Good to know
Watch Season 1 then Season 2 in release order, since the dares and the publishing house politics build directly across the gap. There is no separate chronological order worth listing: the story runs forward with no prequel episodes. No third season has been announced, so the sixteen episodes stand as the complete run for now.
