About Murphy Brown
Murphy Brown opened November 1988 on CBS about newswoman Murphy Brown at FYI with Corky, Frank and Miles around her. Ten seasons and 247 episodes ran through May 1998 with the quadrant office crew and big political plots each fall.
A revival season 11 ran 13 episodes from September to December 2018 with Murphy hosting a cable morning show with her son aboard. CBS cancelled it in May 2019 on soft ratings around 6 million viewers and low demos. No further season has been ordered since that close.

Watch seasons 1 through 10, then the 2018 revival in that order. The revival assumes the FYI crew history and the Corky dynamic directly from the 1990s. The original finale works as a close on its own, so the revival plays as an extra decade later. The revival finale ends the run with no hook left open.
