About Queens of Mystery
Queens of Mystery follows young detective Matilda Stone, raised by crime novelist aunts Beth, Cat and Jane. Series one from April 2019 runs three stories across nine parts with Juliet Stevenson as the aunts' friend. Cases center on burning brides and missing locals.
Series two from March 2021 runs three more with Florence Hall as Matilda and new village feuds. A third run premiered in 2023 with further Wildemar cases. Acorn TV has not dated more as of September 2026, so the existing trios form the set. Each story credits its aunt narrator up front.

Watch series one trios before series two since Matilda's rank and love life carry over. Each three parter spoils its killer only in part three, so do not split them.
