Shakespeare and Hathaway pairs ex cop Frank and hairdresser turned sleuth Luella in Stratford upon Avon. Series one from February 2018 runs ten daytime mysteries setting debts and the theater backdrop. Series two from 2019 and series three from 2020 add ten each with Sebastian and Gloria support.
Series four from 2022 runs ten more to the current close. BBC has not ordered a fifth as of September 2026, so the forty episodes form the set. Mark Benton and Jo Joyner lead with light moving subplots across runs.

Watch series one to four in order even though murders reset, since Frank's money woes and Lu's family reveals carry over. Series two assumes you know the agency setup and police contact Marlowe. Daytime pacing keeps violence low with one theft or threat per week. Treat the S4 finale as the close unless BBC orders more Stratford cases.
