About The Six Million Dollar Man
Colonel Steve Austin, played by Lee Majors, is rebuilt with bionic limbs after a crash and works high risk missions for the OSI. The Six Million Dollar Man ran on ABC from 1974 to 1978 across five seasons, turning Austin into a seventies icon. Jaime Sommers, played by Lindsay Wagner, debuted in a two-part Austin story in 1976 and spun off into The Bionic Woman, which ran from 1976 to 1978.
The two shows crossed over while on air, so release order handles those meetings naturally. Years later the cast returned for three reunion TV movies: The Return of the Six Million Dollar Man and the Bionic Woman in 1987, Bionic Showdown in 1989 with a young Sandra Bullock, and Bionic Ever After in 1994. Those three close the story and should be watched last.
Good to know
There is no separate chronological order worth listing, since the series aired in story order and the reunion films pick up about a decade later in the same continuity. The one caveat is the crossovers: a few episodes bounce characters between the two shows, so stick to release order rather than finishing one series before starting the other. The 2007 Bionic Woman remake is a separate continuity and is not part of this list.
