About Sons of Anarchy
Sons of Anarchy ran for seven seasons on FX (2008 to 2014), tracking Jax Teller and the Charming, California charter of SAMCRO. It ended with the December 9 2014 finale.
Mayans M.C. (2018 to 2023) follows EZ Reyes and the Santo Padre charter on the California-Mexico border, years after the Sons story ends. It is a sequel set later, not a prequel, so watch all of Sons of Anarchy first. Five seasons, 50 episodes, closed July 19 2023.

Mayans M.C. season 5 was confirmed as the last in January 2023. No further series in this universe had been announced as of 2026-09-17. Mayans overlaps in setting but its story starts after the Sons finale, so release order equals story order.
