About The Affair
The Affair tells each story twice across five Showtime seasons from 2014 to 2019, with Noah and Alison's perspectives diverging on the same Montauk events. The run totals 53 episodes, with season five adding a decades later Joanie timeline on top.
Watch in release order since the dual point of view device only works as designed. Renewed as a fifth and final season in 2018, the November 2019 finale closes the story for all four leads, and a Turkish remake stands apart in its own separate continuity.
Good to know
Release order is the intended order with the perspective tricks built in, so no chronological reshuffle is listed. Seasons run ten to twelve episodes except the eleven episode finale run. With the ending behind it since 2019 and no continuation announced, these five seasons are the complete guide with no revival coming.
