About The Asset
The Asset follows agent Tea going undercover on a drug wife in Copenhagen. Season 1 (2025) runs 6 episodes from October 27, 2025 all same day, hitting No 1 in 52 countries with 11.3 million views week 1. Season 2 was renewed with Clara Dessau and Maria Cordsen returning, production starting Copenhagen in 2026 with no premiere date.
Profile Pictures produced the Netflix Danish crime show with Frederik Ringtved writing. The Tea Ashley collision carries into season 2. Watch season 1 first, then wait on 2 once dated, since the Legenden cover and the survival fight set up the next run.
Good to know
Broadcast order is the only order, with one season released and the next waiting. Season 1 sets the Tea undercover rules and the smuggler wife bond that season 2 will reopen with greatest challenges yet. The renewal came from global Top 10 in 90 countries. Treat season 1 as latest released, with season 2 ordered for 2026 production but undated.
