About The Good Place
The Good Place aired on NBC from September 2016 to January 2020 from creator Michael Schur. It follows Eleanor Shellstrop waking in a supposed paradise with Chidi, Tahani and Jason under architect Michael. The season one finale reveals the neighborhood is actually the Bad Place, and each later season reboots the experiment with the group retaining fragments of memory.
Schur planned four seasons totaling 53 episodes and turned down extensions, closing with the group choosing their exits one by one. No revival has been ordered, so the finale stands as the intended end rather than a cancellation cut short.
