About The Office
The UK original ran for two six-episode series (2001 and 2002) plus a two-part Christmas special in 2003, following David Brent at Wernham Hogg in Slough.
The US remake ran nine seasons and 201 episodes on NBC, from March 24, 2005 to May 16, 2013, following the Scranton branch of Dunder Mifflin.
Good to know
The two versions are separate continuities, so either makes a fine starting point. The same-universe spinoff The Paper premiered on Peacock on September 4, 2025, with a second season that premiered September 9, 2026, and sits outside this UK and US list.
