About This Is Us
This Is Us aired on NBC from September 2016 to May 2022 from creator Dan Fogelman. It follows Jack and Rebecca Pearson raising Kevin, Kate and Randall across decades, cutting between the 1980s marriage, the present-day siblings and flash-forwards to Rebecca's final years. The pilot hides that the eight characters share one family tree until the closing minutes.
The show ran 106 episodes through six seasons and ended by plan with the Pearsons scattering after Rebecca's goodbye. Fogelman has said in interviews the finale closes the family story, with no spinoff ordered, leaving the last episode as the intended end.

The season one finale explains Jack's death only after a season of misdirection, so skipping ahead ruins the show's central reveal.
