Wizards follows the Russo siblings training in magic while hiding it in New York. Seasons 1 and 2 ran 21 plus 30 episodes from 2007 to 2009, with the TV movie in August 2009 winning an Emmy. Seasons 3 and 4 ran 28 plus 27 to January 2012.
Alex vs Alex arrived March 2013 as an hour special. Beyond Waverly Place ran three seasons and 35 episodes from October 2024 to August 2026 as the sequel with Justin training new wizards. Watch seasons 1 and 2, then the movie, then seasons 3 and 4, special, then Beyond.
Good to know
There is no separate chronological order. Every season follows the Russos in order, so release order is the only list. The movie sits between seasons 2 and 3 where it aired. Beyond continues years later with a new young cast beside Justin. The August 2026 finale ends the sequel with no further season ordered.
