About Bananya
Bananya follows white cats living inside banana peels. The first run aired 51 shorts in 2016 with narrator tales about each secret. Bananya 2 aired another 51 shorts in 2019 with new friends like the baby and long haired types. The Curious Bunch continued the format with 13 longer visits and songs.
Studio Gathering and TMS handled the runs, each short lasting about three minutes. The jokes do not build plot, but the cast grows, so release order introduces the newer cats in the order viewers met them. The soft colors and dream logic stay constant across all three runs.
Good to know
Watch Bananya, then Bananya 2, then the Curious Bunch. There is no timeline to untangle, since the shorts reset each time. The order below follows first appearance, which keeps the new cats and songs from arriving out of place. Each short is only three minutes, so the full run fits in a few relaxed sittings.
