About Di Gi Charat
Di Gi Charat (1999) runs sixteen four minute episodes with Dejiko, Puchiko and Gema arriving at Gamers. Summer Special 2000 adds four parts introducing Piyoko hostage plot, followed by Christmas, Ohanami and summer specials through 2001.
Di Gi Charat Movie A Trip to the Planet (2001) runs twenty one minutes, Panyo Panyo (2002) reboots as forty eight five minute prequel parts, and Nyo (2003 to 2004) retells with 104 twelve minute parts. Watch TV first, then specials and movie, then Panyo Panyo and Nyo as alternate takes. Winter Garden 2006 and Reiwa 2022 sit outside this core path.

Release order is the recommended path since specials assume TV character setup. Start with the 1999 run for Dejiko voice and Gamers rules that power later gags. The movie and Panyo Panyo work as branch points after specials, while Nyo serves as the long endpoint retelling. Later Winter Garden and Reiwa shorts stay optional after Nyo.
