About Eden of the East
Eden of the East is Kenji Kamiyama's 2009 Noitamina thriller about Akira Takizawa, a naked man with a phone that grants wishes at a price. Production I.G aired 11 episodes April to June 2009, ending on the missing NEETs and the Johnny Hunter thread. The Air Communication compilation from September 2009 re-edits the run for theaters.
The King of Eden from November 2009 and Paradise Lost from March 2010 close the Selecao game across two films. The story runs straight with no prequel to place. No continuation is announced, which leaves the films as the designed ending.
Good to know
Watch the TV run first, then the two films in release order. The compilation is an optional recap of the same eleven episodes, so skip it unless marathoning. King of Eden assumes the phone balance and the Saki thread intact. Paradise Lost closes the game with no sequel hook that matters. The manga spinoffs stay optional after the films.
