About Monster
Monster adapts Naoki Urasawa's manga about Dr. Tenma saving boy Johan who grows into a killer. The 74 episodes aired April 7, 2004 to September 28, 2005 on Nippon TV with Madhouse animating.
No sequel was made with the manga closed. Treat the 74 as a finished thriller run. Watch episodes 1 through 74 in order. The Liebert twin and library threads only resolve if you track each town week to week through the hunt. The hospital politics open each town with quiet dread before the murders surface. The library murders anchor the middle stretch with cold precision.
Good to know
There is no separate chronological order worth listing. The hunt already plays in intended broadcast order, so release order and story order are the same list. Watch episodes 1 through 74 straight. Pluto is a separate Urasawa work, not a sequel. No null-year entry is pending. Watch episodes 1 through 74 straight in broadcast order. Pluto is a separate Urasawa work, not a sequel.
