About Rewrite
Rewrite follows Kotarou with occult club and Kagari in Kazamatsuri. Season 1 ran 13 episodes from July to September 2016 around the common route with an original Kagari turn. Moon and Terra ran 11 episodes from January to March 2017 adapting those routes with the theory revealed.
8bit produced both cours as one 24 episode plan. No new anime has been announced since 2017. Watch season 1 then Moon and Terra straight. The second cour reframes the first with the theory revealed, so skipping ahead ruins the setup.
Good to know
There is no separate chronological order. Moon and Terra continue after season 1 in both release and story, so release order is the only list. Season 1 works as setup while season 2 pays off. The visual novel routes branch more, but the anime tells one line. The March 2017 finale ends it closed for good. Start at season 1.
