About Ron Kamonohashi
Ron Kamonohashi follows Ron, a brilliant but banned detective who cannot work cases on his own, and Totomaru, the earnest police officer who fronts for him. Together they solve locked-room murders and impossible disappearances while the shadow of the M Family grows in the background. The anime adapts Akira Amano's manga in two thirteen-episode seasons.
Season 1 introduces Ron's condition, the Blue academy backstory and the Bloody Field Trip incident. Season 2 moves into the Shibuya and plateau hotel cases and pushes the Moriarty family plot forward. The manga finished in 2025, so further anime seasons remain possible, but the two existing seasons form a complete introductory arc.
Good to know
Watch season 1 then season 2 with no reordering. The cases are mostly standalone week to week, but the M Family clues and Ron's memory fragments accumulate in broadcast order. Jumping straight to season 2 would spoil who survives the early cases and why Totomaru trusts Ron. The stage play adapts selected cases out of continuity and can be skipped by viewers focused on the anime plot.
