About Umaru-chan
Himouto Umaru-chan follows Umaru Doma, perfect at school and tiny hamster gamer at home demanding cola and chips from brother Taihei. Season 1 from July 2015 sets cape routines, arcade visits, Ebina Nana's rice worries, Kirie Motoba's sword dreams and Bomber teasing. Doga Kobo adapts Sankaku Head's manga with chibi shifts.
Season R from October 2017 adds tournaments, park trips, Christmas, exams and sleepovers that deepen the circle. Taihei's coworkers and shop routines widen home life. Watch season 1 episodes 1 through 12, then R 1 through 12, since terms, nicknames and house rules carry across both cours to the close.
Good to know
Watch season 1 then season R in release order, which matches story order. Home gags reset each outing, but school friendships, Ebina housing and Kirie trust build across terms, so skipping breaks later warmth. The manga runs past the anime with the same close and extra home arcs. No third season has aired, so the 24 episodes stand complete for now.
