About Visionaries
Visionaries follows the Spectral Knights and Darkling Lords of Prysmos, where magic has returned and warriors bear animal totems on their chests. The 13 episode run from 1987 tells one serialized quest for the Eye of Avatan across its single season.
Watch the 13 episodes in air order. The show is fully serialized for its era, with the Eye's location and the shifting alliances building week to week, so shuffled orders break the quest. A Star Comics run continued the story in print for readers who finish the season wanting more.
Good to know
Hasbro cancelled the toyline quickly, which is why the saga stops at 13 episodes despite the open ending. The season tells a complete quest arc even so, with the finale paying off the Eye hunt. No revival in any medium is in production, leaving Visionaries a single season time capsule of late 1980s syndication.
