About DriveClub
DriveClub follows club based road racing across Norway, Chile and more with drift and draft teams. The base game launched in 2014 on PlayStation 4 after delays, with tour events and face off duels. Bikes arrived in 2015 as a standalone expansion with superbikes and remixed tracks. VR followed in 2016 as a separate headset racer with cockpit views.
All three entries share tracks and clubs with no story, so release order is the garage path. Play the 2014 base game, Bikes, then VR for the full set from first tour to the headset finale. Servers closed in 2020, so offline tours and time trials are the current way to run the three stage set from 2014 to 2016.
Good to know
Play the 2014 base game first, since it sets the club teams and tour structure. Bikes continues with two wheel handling, so it plays best second. VR closes the set as a separate headset version rather than a sequel. The three entry run rewards release order with steady track growth. Release order keeps tour events and club unlocks clear for all players.
