About F1
EA F1 2000 opened February 2000 on PlayStation with Villeneuve cover and Suzuka chase, through Career Challenge in 2003. Gap ran 2004 to 2008 with Sony licenses. Codemasters F1 2009 restarted November 2009 with career ladders.
F1 2020 through F1 24 add My Team and Braking Point stories with F2 feeders. F1 25 arrived May 30, 2025 with Iconic early access. No full F1 26 comes, with 2026 season as paid expansion to F1 25. Full return lands in 2027. Play in release order, or start latest for live grids.
Good to know
There is no separate chronological order for F1 worth listing, since seasons have no story and release order is the only path. The career loop stays fixed, later games only add tracks and handling. Start with F1 25 for modern grids, then sample older eras freely. Later games run online leagues with cross play.
