About Gran Turismo
Gran Turismo tells no story at all, so there is no chronology to untangle and release order is the natural play order. Each numbered entry rebuilds the driving model and car list, which means newer games simply replace older ones for most players.
Good to know
Polyphony Digital posted job listings in September 2026 for its next project, but Sony has not announced a Gran Turismo 8 title or date, so treat anything beyond Gran Turismo 7 as unconfirmed for now.
