About Embark Studios
Embark Studios built live shooters from The Finals in December 2023 with destructible arenas. Cashout teams break walls, crane drops and vaults across Monaco, Seoul and Vegas maps in fast tournament rounds.
Arc Raiders followed in October 2025 with co op extraction against ARC machines on the surface. Squads loot, craft and dodge walkers together. Play The Finals first, then Arc Raiders. Release order matches system growth, with movement tech and team revive logic assuming arena basics are fully known. The pacing stays steady, with each part adding faces while keeping the core tone clear. New viewers learn names slowly while returning fans track how ties shift each year.
Good to know
Start with The Finals from 2023 to learn destruction, cash boxes and light medium heavy roles. Then move to Arc Raiders from 2025 for slower extraction runs, machine patterns and stash care. Both games update often with seasons, so expect balance shifts between patches. No shared roster links the two beyond movement feel and studio netcode. Watch finales closely for payoff.
