About Gunstar Heroes
Gunstar Heroes starts in 1993 with Red and Blue against Smash Dyna on Gunstar 9 with weapon combos. Treasure bases the run on throws, slides and dice mazes with Empire foes. The Genesis run mixes mine and space stages.
Gunstar Heroes: The Gunners from 1995 continues on Game Gear with new maps, while Super Heroes from 2005 returns on GBA with Yellow revival. The three share Gunstar 9 across years, so release order suits combo growth over plot with Super last as the close. A new Gunstar stayed talk as of September 2026.

Play Gunstar Heroes first for the combo base well, then Super Heroes as the direct follow up. The Game Gear sequel fits between as an extra for handheld fans across years.
