About Final Fight
Final Fight began November 1989 as a Capcom arcade beat em up about Haggar, Cody and Guy saving Jessica from Mad Gear. Final Fight 2 arrived in 1993 on SNES with Haggar, Maki and Carlos against a revived gang, and Final Fight 3 followed in 1995 with Guy, Lucia and Dean closing the SNES run. Mighty Final Fight and Revenge branch as ports and a 3D fighter.
Streetwise launched February 2006 on PS2 and Xbox as the 3D close with Kyle tracking Cody trouble in Metro City. The arcade original hides inside Streetwise as a bonus, and Double Impact bundles it with Magic Sword for modern entry.
Good to know
Play the main line in release order for gang return logic, since each sequel assumes Mad Gear known from the arcade days. Mighty and Revenge can be skipped or saved as extras without losing plot. Streetwise plays rougher than the arcade trio and divides fans, so expect tank controls after crisp SNES pacing.
