About Lost Planet
Lost Planet Extreme Condition from 2006 follows Wayne Holden fighting Akrid on EDN-3 with thermal energy and VS suits in snow pirate forts. Lost Planet 2 from 2010 moves to co op squads with VS suits across jungle and desert with custom heroes and online raids.
Lost Planet 3 from 2013 jumps back as a prequel with Jim Peyton drilling rig action and family tapes on Coronis. The thermal gauge plus grapple play shapes runs. Play in release order since suits stack and reveals land best. Capcom closed the run in 2013 with no revival announced.
Good to know
There is no separate chronological order for Lost Planet worth listing for first play, since release order gives the Wayne hook before the prequel tale. The prequel sits first in story time but spoils less in release spot. Play Extreme Condition, then 2, then 3 in order for full arcs. VS suits guide play.
